Day 5, 6 – Ouro Preto, 2 nights Pousada do Mondego. HB
Enjoy the magnificent colonial architecture of Tiradentes and visit the St. Antonio church and the house of Father Toledo. Drive to Mariana for a visit to the Cathedral and the Sacred Art Museum. Enjoy lunch before heading to Ouro Preto.
Today you will have a full day exploration through the main points of interest in Ouro Preto, including the Mineralogy Museum, the churches of St. Francis of Assisi and Pilar that marked the climax of the gold cycle with carved works painted entirely in gold. Lunch is included.

Day 7, 8 – Salvador, 2 nights Pousada Convento do Carmo. BB
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Belo Horizonte Airport to connect with flight north. Upon arrival in Salvador da Bahia, the “cultural heart of Brazil”, you will be met and transferred to Convento do Carmo.
Next morning, your guide will meet you for your historical tour of the city, including the modern suburb of Barra and the old historical section of town, the Pelourinho area with the largest and best preserved complex of colonial architecture in the America’s. Tonight you will enjoy a performance by The Bahia Folklore Company at the intimate Miguel Santana Theatre in Pelourinho. After the show dinner will be served in one of the many traditional restaurants in the area.

Day 9 to 12 – Praia da Pipa, 4 nights Pousada Toca da Coruja. BB
Morning transfer to the airport to connect with scheduled flight to Natal. On arrival you will be met for your transfer to the beautiful Pipa beach and the elegant Pousada Toca da Coruja. This exquisite hideaway is ideal for relaxing surrounded by nature, there are plenty of hammocks at strategic places to enjoy the tranquillity of the gardens and the Atlantic fresh air. Outdoor leisure activities offer surfing or bathing in the tepid waters of the Atlantic Ocean, where dolphins and sea-turtles keep you company. Next, a dive in the beautiful ozonized swimming-pool. Ecology aficionados can take walks exploring the trails of this ecological sanctuary and end the day strolling along Pipa´s main street, which offers an excellent and diversified array of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and shops.

Day 13 – Olinda, 1 night Pousada do Amparo. BB
Transfer back to the airport to connect with flight to Recife. Once again you will be met on arrival and transferred to the historic city of Olinda, one of the best-preserved colonial cities in Brazil. You will stay at a charming pousada in the city centre.
Day 14 – Departure
After breakfast, you will have a half day tour of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Olinda, a unique collection of colonial architecture enclosed by coconut palms in front of the Atlantic Ocean.
